The Workshop Began

Neeru initiated the workshop by discussing the materials required for alcohol ink painting. Before dripping ink onto the sheet, she said “With such a form of art, we never know what the end result is” and everyone was asked to go with their intuition, to begin with. She experimented with vibrant colours and added a metallic effect to the painting. Additionally, she also displayed a wispy look with the help of an air dryer.

She shared many methods that can be used while painting with alcohol ink and mentioned that the primary focus has to be on the movement of the air dryer. She then demonstrated how to make a layered rose, which was perfected after smoothly editing the errors. Through this, she established that even if we start with a random method, various patterns can be accomplished.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

All the attendees were elated to see the extraordinary artwork displayed by Neeru. Alcohol ink painting is a wonderful style that can be used on ceramic, glass, ornaments, etc. and Neeru gave a brief idea of how different designs can be drawn on such materials. The session was overall a unique experience for everyone.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
