The most calm phase is the night sky. Acrylic art gives an amazing medium for painting a mesmerising starry night sky . It gives a relaxing sensation and is soothing to the eyes. It brings you closer to the universe. The wonder of cosmic energy lies in the glimmer of the stars. To create such an artwork, The Circle Community conducted a workshop with Srishty Sharma.

About The Artist

Srishty Sharma is currently preparing for competitive exams. Art has always been her passion but she couldn’t pursue it as her career. She began her art journey in January 2020 with her instagram account @chromatic_canvas_.

The Workshop Began

To begin with, Srishty started with the most overpowering colour of a night sky, dark purple. She further  used warm shades from the top of the canvas. She created the moon and stars with white to picture the idea of the nightscape. She explained the details of drawing buildings and light series with black. The drawing part really sounded easy after her explanation. She peeled off the masking tape bordering the paper sheet to get sharp borders displaying the end of the strokes.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

The painting was soothing encompassing many details that worked well to create a starry night sky. All the attendees were happy as they co-created and grasped the concept well. Srishty showed her other artworks explaining the details painted in each one of them.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
