Kerala Mural painting method is one of the ancient Indian art methods. The ancient temples and Palaces in the Indian state of Kerala have on display mural paintings dating back to the period between the 9th to 12th centuries. Primarily associated with representing ancient Puranic stories in a more alluring way, the Kerala Mural art form is fascinating and engaging to work with.
To introduce our circle family to this unique and relaxing art form, we at TCC organized a fantastic workshop and invited artist Shubham Aggarwal as the facilitator.
About The Artist
Shubham Aggarwal is an ardent art enthusiast who loves to create exquisite and mesmerizing, very appealing artworks. An artist from Kerala, She successfully transitioned her love for art from passion to career. Although she had her part of hurdles in her journey, they, in turn, gave her more strength and determination to accomplish something. She is a proud mother, a homemaker, and an artist by profession. She loves to share her experiences with fellow art enthusiasts via workshops and seminars.
And The Workshop Began
The workshop began with a brief introduction to Shubham and her journey as an artist; Shubham then greeted and expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the attendees. Before commencing the workshop, she gave a quick insight into the historical and cultural significance of the art form. Shubham then started demonstrating and creating the artwork all from scratch. She elaborated on some fundamental components of the art form and emphasized the drawing of water waves, as they are a very integral part of the art form. She explained each step in aver detailed manner making it easy for the attendees to understand and follow. The attendees were engrossed in the process as they co-created with Shubham.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
As the workshop progressed towards completion, the attendees created the artworks and presented them to Shubham for feedback, who found each of them very beautiful and full of effort. Towards the end, Shubham also displayed some of her previous artworks, which were equally compelling and appealing. Finally, the workshop concluded with the attendees thanking Shubham for teaching the whole process fun and easy.
The attendees were from different parts of the country and various age groups. Still, their love for art brought them together on a single platform, TCC as always, successfully connected artists and curated a joyous and magical vibe altogether.
