Ganjifa art is an ancient art form that received popularity during the Mughal Era. The word ‘Ganjifa’ means playing cards. As the name suggests, in this art form, circular shaped cards are created. The art form originated in Mysore, Karnataka and like several other Indian art forms, Ganjifa art is also mostly inspired by the historical tales of the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Ganjifa art is a fun and relaxing way to express historical tales in a whole new light.

To introduce the art with some basic insights into its history and significance to the Circle family, TCC organized an amazing workshop and invited expert artist Rajshree Nedungai to conduct the session.
