Acrylic painting is a tool for people whose imagination is bright and vibrant with an intention to recreate it on paper. Acrylic paint is easy and smooth and creates patterns through brush strokes to add that extra touch to it. This art form truly captures the journey of the painter in creating the paintings. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this ancient art form, Rajasthan Studio curated Acrylic Painting Workshop and invited Sneha Raj.

Sneha Raj is originally from Kerala and started her journey in art as a kid. She is especially encouraged by her mother for her passion in art. Kerala Murals is a significant part of her culture and the colourful Murals inspires her a lot. She also works with  Acrylics, Graphite and Charcoal, and sometimes  ventures towards watercolours and pastels.

Acrylic Painting Workshop Began

The workshop began with a short introduction of  Sneha Raj and her earlier work. She then told all the participants how she would teach acrylic painting in such a way that it would garner love for acrylics. She began the process of painting by showing how the finished artwork would look. Later she began the process of instructing and painting.

The workshop moved forward with Sneha creating her painting and the participants following her. She answered all doubts and questions arising in the minds of the participants. She also spoke about the kind of traditional painting she is involved with and the use of acrylic paint in traditional art.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

While moving towards the end the painting was almost complete with only a few twigs here and there and Sneha was instructing others how they could make their painting more bright and attain perfection. The workshop ended with everyone showcasing their work.

The attendees were also from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
